1993 1 oz Australian Silver Kookaburra MS70

What’s so cool about the 1993 Australian Silver Kookaburra 70 (MS70)?

Because the design changes yearly, the demand for the Silver Koala is always very high and it has become a favorite of collectors worldwide.
First introduced in 2007, this series has captured the fancy of both young and old alike.
For 2011, we find an adult koala lazily relaxing in the fork of a tree while a young one, gazing at the viewer, prepares to climb up a branch.

Minted in .999% pure silver and exquisitely frosted, the delicate design on the table of this year’s coin enhances each koala’s shiny likeness.
The plain background contains inscriptions which indicate the .999 purity of the coin along with its bullion weight.

The Perth’s mintmark is clearly visible to the right of the young koala.
The obverse of the coin, which remains a constant, features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Rank-Bradley and the Australian face value of the coin.

The Perth Mint is one of the most trusted in the world and has distinguished itself with artful coins that are eagerly sought-after by avid collectors.
